Packing Tips

Verify that the storage space you choose will be adequate to fit your needs. Our knowledgeable managers at Anchor Storage can help you in determining the correct size.
Fill boxes to capacity. Partially filled or large containers may collapse or tip over.
Make sure each box is easy to lift. Don't over fill a box with heavy items.
Protect your fragile items with bubble pack or other and place them near the top of your storage.
Label boxes with large letters. Put those items you may frequently use near the front of the storage unit and on top.
Make a home list of the boxes and their content to make it easier to locate your goods.
Leave an aisle to the rear of the storage unit for easy access.
